| Here are some pictures of my Great Grandfather (Clyde Edgar) and my Grandfather (Clyde Ernest Rodgers). I also borrowed some pictures of my Grandfather's Naval documents and photos. Find out more about the ship my Grandfather served on by clicking here: USS San Jacinto CVL-30. It's amazing to read about how much turmoil was going on and everything the ship and crew went through in the South Pacific. Spending all those days and nights at sea must have been a challenge all in itself. I can't even imagine! Hats of to my grandfather and everything he and his crew did to protect our country and our way of life. Through good times and bad, I'm proud to be American and wouldn't want to live any other way. Here are some pictures I scanned from my Grandfather's living room wall: |
